Terms of Service

Steamboat Solar Monitoring | Effective September 18, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of Steamboat Solar Monitoring (the "Service"), a private, internal software application operated by Steamboat Solar LLC ("Steamboat Solar," "we," "us"). The Service retrieves and displays operational and energy-production data for solar photovoltaic systems that Steamboat Solar owns or operates.

1. Purpose and scope

The Service is used solely for Steamboat Solar's own internal operations, monitoring, reporting, and portfolio management. It is not a public product, is not offered for sale, and is not made available to the general public. Access is limited to authorized Steamboat Solar personnel and its authorized representatives.

2. Authorized use

Users may access the Service only for legitimate business purposes of Steamboat Solar. The Service provides read-only access to system and production data. Users may not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or any connected system.

3. Third-party data sources

The Service integrates with third-party monitoring platforms (including SMA / Sunny Portal powered by ennexOS and other inverter and metering providers) to retrieve production data for systems Steamboat Solar owns or operates, with the consent of the relevant system owner. Use of those platforms is additionally governed by the applicable third-party terms. We access only the data necessary to monitor our own systems.

4. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Production and financial figures shown by the Service are for internal informational purposes and may be estimated, incomplete, or subject to revision. They should be confirmed against source records before being relied upon.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Steamboat Solar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the most recent revision.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
